This was a one-time gig we did on my birthday in December of 2000 at The Bitter End; with Keith Foley on drums, Christine LaFroscia on vocals, and Richard Huddleston on guitar.
This is transferred from an old VHS tape, hence the poor quality. Note that the stop-action nonsense that begins around 3:40 is not your computer stuttering; it was some annoying junk added by the videographer.
I’ve been asked to sit in with the No Mersey band for a gig in Montauk on Saturday, June 7th (8pm to midnight). The regular bassist couldn’t do it, so I got the call. It should be great fun.
The venue is Nicks of Montauk. I’ve never been there but I hear it’s a fun place and has a beautiful ocean view.
Keith Foley’s CD Project II is complete. I had the pleasure of playing bass on all 14 tracks. This one might be my favorite; it has the terrific Christine LaFroscia on vocals and Gus Fafalios on lead guitar. This is the final mix and mastered version.
I’m using a homebuilt P bass with a Darkstar pickup and muted flats.

I’ll be doing 2 shows this Friday night at The Bitter End in NYC’s Greenwich Village.
At 7:45 we’re doing a non-rehearsed Moby Chick set of Led Zeppelin covers. Moby Chick shows are always fun and go over really well.
Then, at 9:00, it’s The Jenny Amlen Band. This is a CD release party for Jenny’s “Many Hats” CD that’s just been completed. Jenny’s brother Dave (who engineered and co-produced the CD) is joining us on keyboards.
